This meditation will use relaxation and the subconscious to start up the process of ending the creativity block.

Follow these steps:

1. Sit or lie in a position where you feel comfortable, with your back straight. Choose a time and place where you won't be disturbed.

2. Focus on your breathing pattern and relax – let the air flow in and out of your body deeply and easily. Do this for a few minutes.

3. Imagine that you are now in an orange bubble shell. This bubble is warm and protected. Stay in this bubble for a while and focus on the way you feel, how the colour orange makes you feel.

4. Keep your focus in this bubble for the whole meditation.

5. Now imagine that there is a central channel centre in your heart area where your creativity comes from. Do not start to worry about why it is that you do not flow in creativity, do not start to feel frustrated that you are feeling blocked – just relax in this channel and celebrate it. Celebrate the gift of being able to express your mind and heart through your work.

6. Focus your thoughts on how good it felt in the past to finish your creative piece. Awaken those emotions and feelings of being creatively accomplished.

7. Now imagine that this centre of creativity is growing and spreading with branches. Let each branch be an unborn thought or idea for your creativity. Observe each branch as it forms.

8. Do not worry if nothing happens - simply let these branches form when they are ready. Do not rush it, let the process form and with time it will happen. Please do not stress if nothing happens, patience is key.

9. Repeat this affirmation as you imagine the branches form: I am open and ready for new ideas to form. The process has begun.

10. Relax in this meditation as long as you need. Let each branch evolve further as ideas, emotions, images and ideas form…just observe and relax.

11. When you are ready to end, repeat this affirmation three times: My mind will continue to expand in this process. I am evolving with these new ideas.

This process might take more than one session but this will kick-start the subconscious into working out new ideas and new beginnings.

The mind never stops thinking – this meditation will bring focus in the right direction.
